TAM was raised in a little suburb, in Cape Town, called Edgemead. Her parents, Hubert and Karen Moelans are her greatest supporters and encouragers. TAM is a middle child. She has an older sister, Josette and had a younger brother, Jacques, who passed away 5 years ago. She is very much in love with her family and extended family. Tam is a Christian and believes her ability to write songs, is a gift from God. When a song is being created, she cannot explain how, it just happens. She does not analyse how, either. She is just grateful for the gift..
Tam used to be a grade 6 six teacher in a public school for 7 years. She left her teaching job and formed her own teaching business. She also owns her own publishing company called Tamarin Seed (TS).
She is blessed to do the two things she loves dearly; to create music and teach.

My dream is to be a singer and a songwriter. I want to establish myself as a capable and respected singer/songwriter in the music industry. I would love to, when I'm old and grey, still be blessing artists with songs that I have written for them in my home studio, while at the same time grace the stages and bless the audience with my songs.
(I hope to be a "muso" granny playing a wah-wah pedal when I'm 90 years old.)
